So here is a quick breakdown for the activities this week:
Wednesday, Feb 28th :: 2:30pm - 3:30 pm Volunteer Meeting [Med room]
Thursday, March 1st :: 4pm - 6pm Dawah workshop [Chapel or Med room]
Saturday, March 3rd :: 10am - 12pm Paltalk [Room : "York MSA Fiqh of Dawah Session"]
Sunday, March 4rd :: 10am - 12pm Paltalk [Room : "York MSA Fiqh of Dawah Session"]

1) IAW Preparations:
1.1 Creating banners (have) and advertising posters

1.2 Preparing a layout to place the dawah material and rest of the things for IAW
[ Bushra/ WEDAD -- Deadline: Feb 23, 2007]
1.3 Advertising by posting up the fliers
[1.1 *** we need to have enough volunteers for posting, insha Allah we begin posting these up as soon as we get them! So tentatively Feb 20th, 2007]
1.4 Designing the IAW flier : DONE by Sabeen! May Allah reward her *Ameen*
[Taken by Sheyla , this task needs to get done ASAP, as we want to start advertising ]
1.5 IAW Location/ Table Representative: confirming booking, contacting any required York personalls for booking or documentation purposes --
[Wedad - msa exec Deadline: ASAP, we need to confirm we have the bearpit/vari hall area and the necessary tables.]
1.6 Finding people to man/woman the booths on IAW week.

1.7 Research on dawah material prices and finding best location/prices and items to be purchased

1.9 Photographer: Someone willing to take pictures during the organizing events for the IAW. OR someone willing to take the pictures on the week of IAW inshallah

1.10 IAW Media Rep: Someone who is good with talking to any reporters and officials wanting interviews.
1.11. We need to appoint a brother to deal with the dude who comes every year and argues.
1.12. Can someone get the appropriate media people for York (excalibur ppl)?
1.13 Clean up crew members needed for week of IAW [march 5-8th]

2. Learning to be a Dae'
2.1 Attend Fiqh of dawah session (All sisters can attend the sessions on Paltalk every morning 9am to 10am, in York MSA sisters room. The Cd's are of AlMaghrib course, we are doing this during the reading week ! For more details, get in touch with Sr. Wedad or me.)
2.2 Attend a condense dawah preparation workshop from a dawah expert. (Note: For those who attended one during Ramadan, this is a similar one to that one inshallah. Dates offered March 1st, and March 2nd, time and location TBA. Sr. Shabina and Ayan please confirm dates/times with the appropriate Imams/Da'ees incharge ASAP.)
3. Weekly dawah exercises[I will email to the people after the dawah course insha Allah]
3.1 We will try hold a few unique dawah exercises every other week. Inshallah interested parties can get hands on experience with other daai's company.
4. Dawah website[ Br.Shuja - research director ]
4.1 Researcher: Collect all necessary dawah information that should be posted on the website
4.2 Website implementer/communicater with the IT Director: Organize the dawah page appropriately with the IT Director inshallah.
5. York University Dawah phamplet[tentatively - unfeasible due to time constraints]
5.1 Come up with a unique newsletter style phamplet with the MSA location and information available on it. This phamplet will be used through out the year inshallah and can be made professional bi'ithnillah
5.2 Someone to get these printed
6. Reusability of our hard work! [ Right after event : documentation get it to Sr.SABEEEEEEN ]
6.1 Gather all organized work information as well as any idea to be used in the future by other MSA members
6.2 Write it in a readable format
