You must turn in all of the designs that you made no mater how neat or messy they are. They should be in order from the last design to the first design. All designs are titled on the top of the paper stating Sketch 1, Sketch 2, etc … Initial Construction Rollercoaster Design, Final Rollercoaster Design - Side View, and Final Rollercoaster Design – Top View. 2. Your Initial Construction Design and Final Rollercoaster Designs have to be very neatly drawn on blank white computer paper. 3. You must show two different viewpoints for your Final Rollercoaster design. One of them has to be a side view. (For example - the side view and the top view OR the side view and the front view) 4. The Initial Construction Design and Final Rollercoaster Design drawings include all the dimensions (numbers and units) for every single part of the design. Labels tell what each part is made out of. (Label example – 10cm paper towel roll) A person from a different group could build your rollercoaster by looking at your design. 5. The rollercoaster designs have two hills including the initial hill and two special effects (the special effect could be a loop or a twist). 6. A 2-4 paragraph paper describing how the group decided on the Initial Construction Design. Describe how different people in the group compromised to make the design. Describe how research helped you decide on the Initial Construction Design. Describe how your Initial Construction Design and your Final Construction Design are different if they are different. Describe what tests you did and thoughts your group had that led to these changes. | 1.
