My Teaching Schedule

Special Event
Yoga and CranioSacral

I\'ll be participating in Metta River\'s Yoga Retreat at Laurel Springs Ranch in Santa Barbara, July 10-12. Minga Lily and Shawn Patrick create an amazing yoga space at this gorgeous retreat center in the mountains. I\'ll be offering craniosacral unwinding sessions before and after the yoga practice. This is a wonderful combination that allows energy to continue to flow through the body.

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique is a powerful, non-invasive tool for working with the spine. Raindrop Technique uses a sequence of several therapeutic-grade essential oils that are designed to enhance the immune system, as well as the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, digestive and nervous system and support the body\'s natural defenses. These oils, which are high in antioxidants, are also mood elevating and antiseptic, creating an unfavorable environment for harmful viruses and bacteria that can hibernate in the body. Essential oils are known to boost stamina and energy, promote relaxation, help manage stress and frustration and promote overall health, vitality and longevity. The oils are dispensed in little drops from a height of about six inches above the back, which is where Raindrop Technique gets its name. The oils are then massaged along the spine and back muscles and applied to the feet. This treatment can be integrated with all the types of emotional and physical therapies. A Raindrop Session may continue to work in the body for up to a week with possible realignment and bodily adjustment taking place during this time.

CranioSacral Unwinding I

This class explores the concepts of the CranioSacral rhythm, fluid tides and the connective tissue system of the body. The focus of the class is on developing palpation skills or cranial touch. The way we touch the body in cranial work is unique and it allows students to listen to the client‘s system in a deeper way. Students are also introduced to the concept of holding space for the client so that the internal intelligence of the system can be contacted. In addition, this class explores finding and having boundaries between practitioner and client and unwinding tissue by tracking the inherent movements in the body.

There are no prerequisites for this class, it is open to anyone interested in exploring their  healing journey
