OUR PA PA KA LAY

There are a lot of things to talk about our dad. He must be our role model in our life. We are so thankful for having such a wonderful dad, and we thank to our heavenly Father who has given us such a wonderful dad. Since the day we were born, both of our parents have given all their time, energy, and love to raise us until now. If our mother was the one who nurtured us, then my dad was the one who did all the housework without complained a word. We always think that it must be so hard for them to raise us since we are the first children and also twins. Since this is the father day, we would like to talk about our dad though we also have a lot to talk about our moe moe. Our dad is someone who means a great deal to us. He is loving, kind, gentle, very patient, very humble, and thoughtful. He always listens to us, gives the suggestion whenever we need, and defends. A lot of people think he is so cool that doesn’t speak that much. However, he does speak a lot at home. Most of the time he is the one who whines a lot at home, and it might be because he has three daughters. There is some saying that “dads’ really do make a huge difference in their daughters’ lives.” We would say that it is a true saying. When we were teenagers, my mom had to study aboard and most of the time she traveled for the missionary trip. We still remember those days that our dad was the one being both mommy and daddy. We always think that it must be so hard for him to raise three teenage daughters as old saying that to raise a daughter is like to look after a thousand cows. Oh he is also stingy and picky when it comes to his three daughters’. We must say that he is a lot better when we grown up. When we were teenagers, he really got mad when some of his students called him father-in-law and his colleges called him in-law. Ironically, he always say that “po mus, don’t get married, I’ll take care of you guys the rest of my life.” Now he is kind of a lot better, he probably realizes that he might get blamed one day that his three daughters are single forever because of him. Just joking, yet  who knowsJ? Our dad is very approachable. He is there for us anytime we want him. We can discuss with him anything except one thingJ. We know that it must be hard for him to juggle between work and family. He must face a unique challenge. He is trying his best to do it all and trying to balance work and family life. He is sometimes too busy to prove that he loves us and most of the time he doesn’t want to prove it. But we believe that deep down in his heart he loves us immeasurable and is sentimental and soft. Sure enough he just doesn’t want to spoil us. Ever after he scolds us, he is the one who feels sad and tires to convince us that he has scolded us because he loves us and wants us to be a better person. He always teaches us according to the Bible. Every time he talks to us, we rarely see earthly words; instead we see biblical teaching in his words. He always brings us happiness. There are some times that we need him most, and he is the one who stops our tears, mend our broken heart, make things better, and to tell us everything will be alright.  We are so glad to honor our dad by this article. We are grateful and proud to be able to call this wonderful man our “PA PA KA LAY!” That’s what we use to call him.
