Calendar is essential in maintaining the schedule and plans of various tasks related to a Project.
The project calendar displays the calendar in its view, with options to select display of
- All Tasks
- All Milestones
- All Meetings
- All of the above
- All users view
It shows all the tasks/milestones/meetings of various users in a particular project.This allows the group members to know about the various activities: tasks, milestones or meetings planned over a time period and also a fair knowledge of each other's activities.Any tasks/milestones/meetings can be added or modified from this view by the users.
- Any User view
It shows the tasks/meetings/milestones assigned to Any User. This is necessary in cases where a task or milestone is already being created and yet to be assigned.
- Specific user view
This permits the users to view all the activities assigned under a specific user's name by using the drop down list containing the user names.
- All Milestones View
This shows the bar view from start date to end date.On hover of each bar, milestone details will be shown.
- TD,MS,ME icons
Apart from the above provisions, there is another interesting feature in the project calendar. In the Calendar,on hover of each date, you can see the icons TD,MS,ME icons being displayed. Any new task Milestone or new Meeting can be created from the Calendar view.
